We hope your preparation for Christmas and the New Year is going well. Here are some dates to enter into your new diary!

Our spring production
We are delighted to announce that Peter Brooks will be directing “Habeas Corpus” by Alan Bennett on Friday 23rd, Saturday 24th and Sunday 25th March 2018.

We hope you had a very enjoyable summer and are now enjoying the delights of the early autumn weather.

Our autumn offering is fabulous yet again, please come along and join us. All the dates are in red so you don’t miss anything!

It’s hotting up very nicely thank you and we are taking a month off! We have no public events in August but rehearsals for the next production will start for the cast members before the end of the month, and your Board members will still be meeting.

The Autumn Production
Auditions were held in July for the cast of Eric Chappell’s “Haywire” which Diana King will direct in October. Thank you to everyone who auditioned.

Things are hotting up for the summer and we have some lovely events for you to attend before we take respite from the heat during August.

Our next event
On Thursday 29th June at The Atalaya Park Hotel, Peter Brooks will direct Noel Coward’s “Still Life”, the play that the film “Brief Encounter” is based upon. This is a staged play reading (also known as a rehearsed reading or books- in- hand).

Spring Production 2017: Peter Brooks directed “Kindly Leave the Stage” by John Chapman in early March. Karl Maresz was the producer.

The Annual General meeting for the International Theatre Studio will be held on Thursday 30th March 2O17 at El Candil Bar in San Pedro. The meeting is open to members only please.

As Christmas and the start of 2017 approach rapidly, we have prepared another newsletter to keep you up to date with what is happening. There are several dates here for your diary.

A play reading
Veronica Del Cerro set the mood for Christmas with a play reading at El Candil on 1st December. Over 35 people came to read or to listen to “The Christmas Carol”. It was a lovely evening, full of fun as usual. Thanks to Veronica and everyone involved.

The next play reading
Sandra Sprawson will be hosting the next play reading at El Candil Bar in San Pedro on Tuesday 20th September 2016. Please come along and read a part or simply watch, listen and enjoy the evening. There is no charge for this event. Tapas will be available at 7€. Meet at 7.30 for 8 pm start. A separate email will be sent asking you to confirm attendance.
