Following the Committee meeting in early February I would like to update you on what's happening in the near future, there are a lot of good things going on.

Annual General Meeting - members

Just to remind you that the next AGM will be on Weds 10th March 2015 at El Candil in San Pedro starting at 8 pm. Tapas will be available for 7€. I am sending a reminder to
you to contact Ruth Baldwin, our new secretary, so that she can let Alfonso
know how much food to prepare.

Play Reading

The next play reading will be on Weds 18th March 2015 at 7.30pm for 8pm at El Candil. We will be reading part two of Pride and Prejudice. It has been dramatized from Jane Austen's novel by
Helen Jerome. Eileen Audas will be organising the evening for us.

Murder Mystery

Diana King has written the next Murder Mystery, "Come Die with Me" and Kate Jackson will direct it. Rehearsals start on the 2nd March. The performance dates are yet to be confirmed but will be circulated as soon as these and the venues have been agreed.

The cast will be:

Spring Production

The spring production will be "Side Effects" by Eric Chappell; Diana King will direct it. The performance dates will be Friday 17th, Saturday 18th and Sunday 19th April 2015. All will be held at the Atalaya Park Hotel. Auditions were held on the 18th January
and the cast will be:

Michael Clarke as Frank
Diane Clarke as June
Russell Hood as Paul
Carol Woolnoth as Sarah
Ruth Baldwin as Tracey

Rehearsals are already underway and Sandra has been sourcing various walking aids for Michael to practice with.

The Lark in the Park

We have started to plan for this year's event. Maretta is looking for acts to perform in the second half of the evening. We are looking for suitable one-act plays to perform in the first half that will hopefully involve some of our newer and younger members.

The annual membership fees are due (1st of January), so if you haven't paid yet, please will you do so soon. Thank you.

I hope to see as many members as possible at the AGM.

Best wishes,

Carol Woolnoth
