Rehearsed play reading luncheons
Thank you for your support for our rehearsed play reading luncheons; we are so sorry that we cannot accommodate everyone who wants to attend even with the extra performances. Currently we can only have 30 seats at each event with tables of four people maximum.

It is our intention to perform these reading luncheons and dinners every three weeks or so and the Diana Carvery is happy to have us for these events. We will let you know what is coming up next.

We have had some lovely and very positive feedback; we thank you for this as it makes it all worthwhile. We really love to entertain you.

We must thank Delia and Karl Maresz for running the raffle at the luncheons as they have consistently raised 100 € plus each time. Thank you for your support in buying the tickets as this is much needed income for ITS at this time. We still have to pay for our insurance and storage even though we are not performing major productions that would normally cover all our costs.

Volunteers needed
In the meantime, if any of our members have any short one-act plays with a maximum of three characters they would like to read and perform, please let us know. We are asking for readings with humour at this time please. You will need to have a director too.

Membership 2021
We have decided that we cannot make a charge for membership again this year, as we are not able to offer a full programme. So, if you paid your fees in 2020 (before we decided not to charge) then your fee will be carried forward until the time at which we start to charge again.
We are welcoming many new members at the moment, which is great news.

Auditions
Normally, as our regular actors know, we always hold auditions for our plays but this has not been possible due to the Covid-19 restrictions. As soon as the rules allow, we will return to this process.
Throw-back to August 2018 with June Rendle, director, holding auditions with Andrew, Miles and Keith.

The Annual General Meeting 2021 (AGM)
We have decided to postpone our AGM until 2022. We have sought legal advice on this and we can do it due to the exceptional circumstances. Our last AGM was in February 2020.

Resignations
In the absence of an AGM, three members of the Board have resigned with immediate effect. These are Carol Woolnoth, a former President and membership secretary; Sandra Sprawson, our current Vice President, and Jane Cartwright a newer member. We will miss them all greatly but hopefully you will still see them on stage or backstage. Collectively they have served ITS exceptionally well and we are eternally grateful to them.
