In tandem with the very successful production of "Calendar Girls" in October, ITS produced a charity calendar featuring various female members of the theatre group with the proceeds going to the Elena Gaite Foundation, a cancer-related foundation which distributes much needed funds to local charities. Calendar photographs were taken by Alan Jones and the calendar was compiled by Fiona Poole. As each page was sponsored by local companies, the full profits from the sales were able to be donated to the foundation whose purpose is to support relatives and patients with cancer or other more rare diseases.

On 9 January 2024 ITS were delighted to present a cheque for €4,000 to the foundation at a press event held in La Sala, Puerto Banus. In attendance were the brave ladies that posed for the calendar, the foundation founder John Frutos, representatives from the main charities that the foundation supports, plus cast and members of the ITS production. Martin Curd, president of ITS, explained a little about the play and the calendar before handing over to John and the representatives, all of whom gave emotional speeches.

John explained the foundation's origins while the three local charities who will be receiving the money were represented by Ester Raez from Cudeca, Gemma Carr from Collective Calling, and Juan Carmona from AVOI.

ITS would like to thank the management and staff at La Sala for their very kind hospitality in staging the event. ITS are delighted to continue with its charitable donations, which follow the on-going annual event “Lark in the Park”.
